Mapol Inc. is committed to making its website accessible to the widest possible audience, including people with disabilities. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA — the standard referenced by the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) and emerging accessibility regulations across Canada.
What we've done
- Semantic HTML structure with clear headings and page landmarks.
- A "skip to main content" link and visible keyboard focus indicators.
- Colour contrast checked against WCAG AA thresholds.
- Text alternatives for images and decorative graphics hidden from screen readers.
- A responsive layout that works with zoom and on mobile devices.
- Respect for the "reduce motion" system setting.
